Many of you probably have the same tradition, but each year we try to make it down to Temple Square to see the lights. It seems like there is always some sort of occurrence that makes the trip less than enjoyable, like the year Halle threw up, or the year we got a parking ticket (I thought downtown parking was free for the holidays??), but this year it was actually nice. We found a close parking spot (WITHOUT getting a ticket), and everyone seemed to have a good time. The only thing that would have made it better is if Jason could have come. At least he has Christmas off!

We didn't make it down there this year and we were BUMMED. We had planned to (even had the date set and was going to meet my family there), but we were all sick...it was super cold...and we have a new baby. Just not worth it. We'll definately have to go next year! Looks like you guys had fun and I'm so glad Jason gets to be home for Christmas!
Thanks for our little treat. :)
We went in the middle of a snowstorm. It was pretty freakin' cold, but the kids thought it was so much fun to be out in the snow. It's always fun to look at the lights!
I'm so jealous you made it down there. It was on our list three weekends in a row and it was horrible weather every single time. I just couldn't brave it on my own, so I'm proud of you. I just love it down there. Maybe next year we'll make it.
